Lululemon Athletica Inc. (LULU) reported net income for the third quarter of $14.1 million or $0.20 per share, compared to $8.8 million or $0.13 per share in the year-ago quarter.

Revenues for the quarter increased 29.7% to $112.9 million from $87.0 million in the prior-year quarter.

Comparable-store sales increased by 10% on a constant-dollar basis compared to the third quarter of fiscal 2008.

On average, analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.19 per share, on revenues of $111.24 million for the quarter. Analysts estimates typically exclude special items.

Looking ahead for the fourth quarter, the company expects earnings to be in the range of $0.26 to $0.28 per share. Net revenue for the quarter is expected to be in the range of $140 million - $145 million based on a comparable-store sales increase in the mid teens on a constant-dollar basis.

Analysts currently expect earnings of $0.27 per share on revenues of $133.73 million for the fourth quarter.
