Northeast Utilities (NU) traded to the upside until around 1:15PM Friday, but was range-bound for the remainder of the session. Shares closed higher by $0.71 at $25.50. Northeast Utilities has been on an upward trend since the beginning of November. The stock rose past resistance Friday and closed at a new high for the year.
