Depeche Mode will take part in a concert on February 17 to benefit the Teenage Cancer Trust. The event will take place at London's Royal Albert Hall, marking the first time the band has played at the famed venue.
"We're absolutely thrilled to be a part of Teenage Cancer Trust and very proud to be kicking off the 10th year of gigs," Depeche Mode's Martin Gore said. "We've never played the Royal Albert Hall before, so we're really looking forward to that too."
The show will mark the organization's 10th series of concerts, which were originally started by the Who's lead singer, Roger Daltrey.
"I'm forever inspired by the support I have received from the artists and members of the music and comedy industries and thrilled that Depeche Mode are with us for 2010," Daltrey said.
The Teenage Cancer Trust is the first-ever teenage cancer charity in the United Kingdom. It has raised £9 million since its inception in 1990.
