Amkor Raises Q4 Sales, Gross Margin Outlook - Quick Facts

Amkor Technology, Inc. (AMKR) said Monday that due to higher than expected customer demand across its product lines, it now expects fourth net sales to be up around 6% from the third quarter, compared to its previous guidance of flat, plus or minus 2%.

The company also said it expects gross margin for the fourth quarter to be around 26%. The expected gross margin is higher than the company's previous guidance of 23% to 25%, mainly as a result of the expected improved level of net sales.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters currently expect the company to earn $0.16 per share on revenue of $610.95 million for the fourth quarter.
