CSC Bags $79 Mln Contract To Continue Support At U.S. Army Aberdeen Proving Ground - Quick Facts

Tuesday, Computer Sciences Corp. or CSC (CSC) said it was awarded a task order by the U.S. Army, to continue providing a full range of Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Information Management or C4IM support and services at U.S. Army Aberdeen Proving Ground or APG, Md. The task order, which was awarded under the Information Technology Enterprise Solutions - 2 Services indefinite-delivery/ indefinite-quantity contract, has a one-year base period, four one-year options and an estimated total 5-year contract value of $79 million. This contract was awarded to CSC during the company's fiscal 2010 second quarter.

Under the terms of the new agreement, Log.Sec, a CSC company, will provide help desk and data center operations and maintenance services for the Directorate of Information Management; Team Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance; and other tenant agencies at APG. Services will include network infrastructure support, software development, project management and quality control.
