Monday, Quest Software Inc. (QSFT) appointed Carl Eberling as vice president and general manager of virtualization and monitoring. Prior to his role at Quest, Eberling was the senior vice president of IT for Kaiser Permanente, where he led a team of professionals to manage IT operations across the system's business units. Eberling also has held senior IT leadership positions at VerizonWireless, Pacific Bell, Cellular One and AirTouch Communications.
The company also appointed Steve Kahan as vice president of global marketing. Kahan joins Quest with more than 20 years of experience leading marketing teams in systems management organizations such as BindView and NetIQ. Most recently, Steve served as vice president of marketing and product management at The Planet, responsible for the overall leadership and strategic marketing direction for the company.
