Science Applications International Corp. or SAIC (SAI) announced it has been awarded a task order by the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command to provide modeling, simulation, and analytically based warfare analysis support to the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations' or OPNAV Assessment Division or N81. The follow-on task order has a one year base period of performance, four one-year options, and a total value of more than $249 million, if all options are exercised. The task order was awarded under the U.S. Navy's SeaPort-e contract.
