Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello has joined Cypress Hill to make an appearance on the rap veterans' comeback album.
"It was great to work with my longtime friends and comrades," Morello said in a statement.
He will be featured in the title track "Rise Up" and "Shut 'Em Down." Slash is also rumored to be making an appearance on the album.
Rise Up is expected to be released April 6. Cypress Hill are the first group to be signed to Priority Records by Snoop Dogg, where he has recently been appointed as creative chairman.
Morello was ranked #26 on Rolling Stone's list of the 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time.
He has also released music with Audioslave and Street Sweeper Social Club, and as an acoustic solo act called The Nightwatchman.
