Praxair China has signed contract with Tangshan Railway Vehicle Co., Ltd., to supply welding gases used in high-speed train production, with a top speed of 350 kilometers per hour.
Praxair China will supply the customer with a laser welding gas mixture which is used during the manufacture of the vehicle body of the state-of-the-art express train. During the project evaluation, Praxair China was able to meet the strict technical and safety standards that are required for the welding gas mixture.
