Lennox Intl. Q4 Profit Decreases; Reiterates FY10 Outlook - Quick Facts

Lennox International Inc. (LII) reported that its fourth-quarte net income decreased to $6.5 million or $0.11 per share from $10.4 million or $0.18 per share last year.

Earnings per share from continuing operations decreased to $0.17 from $0.21 prior year. Adjusted EPS from continuing operations increased to $0.58 from $0.52 last year.

On average, 6 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report profit of $0.49 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Net sales decreased to $733.5 million from $738.3 million a year ago. Analysts expected revenue of $678.10 million for the quarter.

The company reiterated its 2010 outlook originally provided on December 16, 2009. Adjusted EPS from continuing operations is expected to be in the range of $1.85 to $2.25. GAAP EPS from continuing operations is expected to be in the range of $1.75 to $2.15.
