Bruker Lifts Q4 Revenue Outlook

Bruker Corp. (BRKR) announced fourth quarter preliminary operating results. The company now expects fourth quarter revenue to be greater than $355 million. Earlier, the company expected fourth quarter revenue of greater than $340 million.

On average, 5 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report revenue of $327.49 million for the fourth quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

As previously announced, effective February 1, William Knight, formerly Bruker's Chief Financial Officer, became company's Chief Operating Officer. The company said that Knight was succeeded as Chief Financial Officer by Brian Monahan, previously Vice President of Finance. In addition, Werner Maas and Bernd Gewiese were promoted to Co-Presidents of Bruker's BioSpin division, effective February 1.
