The opening date on Whitney Houston's first tour in 10 years got off to a somewhat rocky start in Seoul, South Korea, over the weekend. According to the Korea Times, the Saturday night show saw Houston and her crew ironing out last minute kinks throughout the performance.

Problems and all, 11,000 fans converged on Olympic Park to see the pop diva perform on the first two dates of her Nothing But Love world tour. Right from the start, however, Houston's entrance was marred by audio and technical problems, with the backing tracks appearing to overshadow her own voice.

The problems continued as awkward silences greeted the concertgoers between songs and last-minute changes to the set list caused confusion among the staff. Houston even suddenly stopped her band twice in mid-track to ask them to start over.

Houston did, however, manage to give fans what they came to see, as far as the songs went. The singer belted out her classics "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" and "I Will Always Love You," along with newer ones, including "If I Told You That" and "Million Dollar Bill."

The singer also gave a stirring tribute to Michael Jackson by performing two of the King of Pop's tracks, "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'" and "The Way You Make Me Feel."
