HCC Bags Three Orders From NHAI For Rs.2,860 Cr.

Hindustan Construction Company said that the company bagged three major orders from National Highways Authority of India for Rs.2,860 crore to develop three contiguous sections of about 256 kms on NH-34 in West Bengal. The projects include design, build, finance, operate and transfer Toll basis.

The first order is for converting two lane to four lanes between Bahrampore and Farraka section of NH-34 for 103 kms on DBFOT toll basis. The second order is also for conversion of two lane to four lane of Farraka to Raiganj section of NH-34 for 103 kms on DBFOT toll basis. The third contract is for converting two-lane to four lane of Raiganj to Dalkhola section of NH-34 for 50 kms on DBFOT toll basis.

The first contract has a concession period of 25 years including the construction period of 910 days. The second and third contracts have a concession period of 30 years including construction period of 910 days.

The company said that the special purpose companies implementing these projects under its subsidiary HCC Infrastructure will receive a cumulative grant of Rs.1033.47 crore during the construction period.
