The U.S. jobless claims report for the week ended Feb. 6 was released at 8:30 am ET Thursday. Amid the report, the dollar gained against the yen, but was little changed against other major currencies.
As of now, the dollar is worth 1.3710 against the euro, 1.5625 against the pound, 89.85 against the yen and 1.0698 against the franc.

Both consumer prices and producer costs have started to reflect the effect of supply shocks due to the Middle East conflict.
