Geeknet Q4 Profit Declines; Appoints Robert Bowman To Board - Quick Facts

Geeknet, Inc. (LNUX) posted net income for the fourth quarter of $1.5 million or $0.03 per share, lower than $2.6 million or $0.04 per share in the same quarter a year ago. Two analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report loss of $0.02 per share for the quarter.

Total revenue for the fourth quarter was $32.6 million, up from $24.8 million in the prior year quarter. Analysts estimated revenues of $26.77 million for the quarter.

In a separate press release, the company said that it has appointed Robert Bowman to its Board of Directors, effective February 8.
