AC/DC fans attending the Australian band's recent show in Melbourne were warned that they were facing stiff consequences for overly rowdy and drunken behavior. The Brisbane Times said that local police planned to crack down on fans who got out of control.

Melbourne police superintendent Rod Wilson said officers and event staff were working together to enforce the policy.

"While we are not out there to spoil the fun," he said prior to the event. "We encourage concert-goers to drink in moderation and be mindful of others."

The order was for anyone found drunk to be removed from the venue and hit with a A$234 (approximately $208 in U.S. currency) on-the-spot fine. The tough stance follows problems with people arriving at a previous concert at Etihad Stadium already drunk.
