Kelly Clarkson took a jab at her record label, RCA, in a recent performance at the M.E.N. Arena in Manchester, U.K. The American Idol vet is currently at work on the follow-up to her 2009 release, All I Ever Wanted, but admitted it may not be the artistic statement she wishes it was.

In a break from the performance, the singer vented, "I love soulful music but I don't always get to record it because I work with a bunch of suits."

Clarkson went on inform the audience that she only has "two records left" on her RCA contract.

This, however, isn't Clarkson's first shot at RCA in reference to her artistic direction. In a recent interview with the Daily Star, the pop star also admitted that the label often chooses her producers and that she's not always happy with their choices.

"I don't like working with people who have worked with everyone," she explained. "Sometimes I get blackmailed into doing so by my label, but I prefer collaborating with people who aren't on the grid. I don't want to sound exactly like other people's records."
