The U.S. wholesale inventories report for January is slated for release at 10:00 am ET Wednesday. Ahead of the release of the report, the dollar declined against the franc, the pound and the euro, but gained against the yen.
At 9:55 am ET, the dollar was worth 1.4946 against the pound, 1.3626 against the euro, 1.0732 against the franc and 90.74 against the yen.
