Travis Barker Reveals DJ AM Tattoo

Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker has revealed photos of a new tattoo that pays tribute to his longtime friend, the late DJ AM.

The photos were posted on Twitter, along with a message saying that Barker had "finished [his] AM tattoo last night."

AM, born Adam Goldstein, died of a drug overdose last summer, and the Blink drummer has widely blamed his relapse on a deadly plane crash the two musicians survived in 2008. The tattoo depicts the words "in memory of" floating above the late DJ's logo and a weeping angel.

Barker recently settled a lawsuit filed against multiple defendants for physical damages he sustained in the crash.

"You know, I wouldn't have third-degree burns all over my body or be prohibited to do certain things," Barker told MTV. "I can't go swimming; I can't do some of the things that normal people can do, I didn't ask for that to happen."

"If something goes wrong that's not supposed to go wrong or you fall victim of it, I think you should be compensated," he added. I lost two friends, nothing can bring them back or what I lost in the accident."
