Gone Too Soon, a new Michael Jackson documentary, is set to come out next month.

Director Ian Halperin has whittled down 300 hours worth of behind-the-scenes footage to make the 88-minute documentary. Halperin, who also wrote Unmasked: The Final Years of Michael Jackson, is calling his new documentary "the film Michael and his fans deserve." He says Jackson's family is aware of the project.

Gone Too Soon will debut at the Confab conference in Cannes, France, next month, followed by a limited release to theaters in France and Canada next June.

The film will reportedly include interviews with MJ's personal manager, chef, spiritual adviser, hairstylist, trainer, bodyguard and attorney.
