Piramal Healthcare, on Friday, announced that the consolidated net profit for the year ended March 31, 2010 grew to Rs.481.90 crore from Rs.316.25 crore in the last year. Total income increased to Rs.3,671.09 crore from Rs.3,288.48 crore in the year ago.
The company's net profit for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2010 rose to Rs.154.32 crore from Rs.114.90 crore in the year ago quarter. Total income increased to Rs.941.82 crore from Rs.858.12 crore in the same quarter last year.
Standalone Results
The company's standalone net profit for the year ended March 31, 2010 soared to Rs.443.22 crore from Rs.275.32 crore in the previous year. Total income grew to Rs.2,677.86 crore from Rs.2,344.70 crore in the last year.
The company's net profit for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2010 edged up to Rs.116.61 crore from Rs.116.27 crore in the year ago quarter. Total income increased to Rs.687.70 crore from Rs.630.19 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
The company recommended dividend of 270% or Rs.5.40 per share for the year ended March 31, 2010.
