U.K. House Price Inflation Slows

Asking prices for homes in the U.K. increased 0.3% in June compared with the previous month, property website Rightmove said on Monday. This follows a 0.7% increase in the previous month.

The average house price of a home in the U.K. stood at GBP 237,767 in June. On a year-over-year basis, house prices increased 5% in June. This follows a 4.3% rise in the prior month.

Other recent U.K. house price indicators have been mixed, with Halifax data showing a 0.4% monthly decrease in prices while Nationwide's indicator showed a 0.5% increase.
