Carrie Underwood is married. The country superstar married hockey player Mike Fisher - a member of the Ottawa Senators - on Saturday. The wedding took place at Reynold Plantation, a resort about 75 miles east of Atlanta. The event reportedly included 250 guests, with People magazine the only media outlet granted access.
Underwood wore a Chantilly lace dress designed for her by Monique Lhuillier, People reported. The magazine will publish photos of the event in next week's edition.
"We could not feel more blessed to have found each other and to have shared this day with our friends and family that mean so much to us!" the couple told People.
Their statement to the magazine was signed "Mike & Carrie Fisher."
