John Legend posted a picture of his broken Grammy to his Twitter account this week, saying his nephews unfortunately got a hold of it and snapped it in two pieces. The broken Grammy was Legend's award for Best R&B Album of 2005.

The 31-year-old soul singer joked: "Casualty of the nephews staying with me. I hope they send replacement grammys!"

Later he also posted: "Funny how many of y'all told me to beat his a**. Haha. It was truly an accident. I'm just gonna have to nephew-proof my apt a little better."

Luckily for him, the organizers of the Grammys have offered to send him another Grammy after seeing his posts on the social networking site.

All together Legend has won six Grammys in the span of his music career, receiving his first one at age 26.
