Sales Prompt Adam Lambert Shows To Be Moved To Bigger Venues

Adam Lambert has sold so many tickets for his Australian tour that promoters have moved him into larger venues.

Chugg Entertainment, the organizers and promoters of his tour, have announced that his October 19 Melbourne Show will now be held at the Palais Theater in St. Kilda, with the October 20 show in Sydney moved to the Enmore Theater. Lambert's October 22 show in Brisbane will remain at the Tivoli.

The tour will mark Lambert's first shows in Australia. After wrapping up the Australia dates, Lambert will play two shows in Hawaii before heading to Europe to wrap up his Glam Nation Tour.

Lambert's debut album, For Your Entertainment, debuted at number three on the Billboard 200 chart in November 2009. It moved more than 198,000 copies in its first week out.

Major central banks continued to dominate the economic news flow this week too, led by the Federal Reserve, as they announced their latest policy decisions. The Federal Reserve policy session was in focus as it was the first to be led by the new chief Kevin Warsh. In Europe, central banks of the U.K. and Switzerland announced their rate decisions. In Asia, the Bank of Japan drew attention for its policy moves, while data out of China threw some light on the state of the economy.
