Trailer For Carrie Underwood's New Movie Released

The trailer for Carrie Underwood's new movie, Soul Surfer, has just been released, reports MTV.com.

The "Before He Cheats" singer will be making her feature film debut, playing the role of Sarah Hill, a motivating church youth leader, in the flick.

During the trailer, the song "You're Never Alone" by Shannon Noll is played, showcasing lyrics such as "Sometimes you have to lose it all/close your eyes and take the fall/and then you'll know you're never alone."

This film is based on the true story of surfer Bethany Hamilton, who tragically lost her arm after being attacked by a shark. Hamilton will be played by actress AnnaSophia Robb.

Other actors signed on for the surfing flick include Dennis Quaid, who will play surfer dad Tom Hamilton, and Helen Hunt playing the mom, Cheri Hamilton.
