Wisconsin Energy Corp. (WEC) Friday said it appointed Robert Garvin as senior vice president - external affairs for the corporation and its utility subsidiaries, effective April 15, 2011. Garvin currently serves as vice president and general counsel of American Transmission Company of Pewaukee.
Before joining American Transmission Company, Garvin was vice president - regulatory affairs for NextEra Energy Resources of Juno Beach, Florida.
In the new role, Garvin would have overall responsibility for the company's legislative and regulatory affairs at the federal, state and local levels.
