Hasbro, Inc. (HAS), Thursday announced an extended partnership with Disney Consumer Products regarding creation of innovative toys and games for premier brands, Star Wars and Marvel.
The multi-year deal is expected to strengthen the partnership of both companies, and bring brand-new play experiences to the customers.
Paul Gitter, Executive Vice President of Global Brand Commercialization at Disney Consumer Products, said, "From must-have collectibles to Lightsaber toys, we aim to push the boundaries of creativity to deliver innovative products and engaging play experiences that bring our fans closer to their favorite stories and characters."
In the pre-market hours, Hasbro's stock is trading at $56.21, up 6.68 percent on the Nasdaq.
