Hong Kong's unemployment rate increased in the May-July period, labor force statistics from the Census and Statistics Department showed on Tuesday.
The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate stood at 3.7 percent in May-July, up from 3.5 percent in the April-June period.
The data showed that the underemployment rate remained steady at 1.4 percent.
On an unadjusted basis, the unemployment rate also rose to 3.8 percent from 3.6 percent.
