Stocks have moved mostly higher during trading on Thursday, with the major averages all moving to the upside after ending yesterday's volatile session mixed.
Currently, the major averages are all in positive territory but off their highs of the session. The Nasdaq is up 155.17 points or 0.7 percent at 22,825.25, the S&P 500 is up 25.98 points or 0.4 percent at 6,697.04 and the Dow is up 103.49 points or 0.2 percent at 46,356.80.

In North America, the U.S. inflation and trade data as well as Canada’s central bank decision gained attention. The Chinese trade data was the main news in Asia.
