The Hong Kong stock market has moved higher in two straight sessions, gaining more than 140 points or 0.6 percent along the way. The Hang Send Index now sits just beneath the 26,630-point plateau and it may extend its gains on Friday.
The global forecast for the Asian markets is positive on easing geopolitical tensions regarding Greenland. The European and U.S. markets were up and the Asian bourses are expected to follow that lead.
