Wednesday, Western Wind Energy Corp. (WND.V) said that it made a final payment of US $12.38 million to Pacific Hydro Pty. Limited, in repayment of the Mesa acquisition loan.
The final payment, which concludes all matters between Western Wind and Pacific Hydro, was made on June 23, 2008.
Western Wind owns 30 megawatt Mesa Wind Generating Asset, with clear title and completely debt-free. Mesa has yielded 11.5 cents per kilowatt-hour in the present month of June 2008, which is a 47% rise in the kilowatt-hour rate from the prior year.
