The stock was down 18 cents just after 9:10 am ET, declining to $2.80. If pre-market losses hold, the stock will open near Monday's intraday low.
Quantum Technologies on Monday reported a fourth quarter net loss from continuing operations of $4.7 million or $0.06 per share, narrower than $5.5 million or $0.09 per share in the prior year period. The company's net loss narrowed to $4.7 million or $0.06 per share from $16.2 million or $0.25 per share in the year-ago period.
On average, two analysts polled by First Call/Thomson Financial expected the company to report a loss of $0.05 per share.
Total revenue in the fourth quarter was $9.7 million, compared to $3.1 million in the fourth quarter last year. Two Wall Street analysts expected revenues of $8.10 million.
