Amtech Systems Inc. (ASYS) disclosed in a regulatory filing that it has received the resignation of Brian Hoekstra from the Board of Directors, effective December 22, 2009. The resignation was not the result of any disagreement on any matter relating to the operations, policies or practices, the company specified.
Amtech's board appointed Egbert Jan Gert Goudena as a Director, effective December 22. Goudena will serve on the company's Nominating and Governance Committee and Technology Strategy Committee.
In addition, the company said its board approved restoration of the base salary paid to its executive officers to the levels paid prior to the reduction proposed on April 8.
Amtech's board approved a salary restoration for Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President, Jong Whang, from $315,000 to $350,000, for Chief Financial Officer Bradley Anderson from $220,500 to $245,000, and for Chief Accounting Officer Robert Hass from $133,200 to $148,000, all effective as of January 10, 2010.
The company's board also approved fiscal year 2009 discretionary bonus, comprising $95,000 for Whang, $50,000 for Anderson and $12,000 for Hass.
ASYS closed Thursday's trading session at $11.15.
