United Microelectronics Corp. (UMC) Monday reported unaudited net sales for the month of December of NT$8.10 billion compared to NT$10.18 billion a year ago, 20.37 percent down.
On a month-over-month basis, net sales improved 0.49 percent.
For the period from January to December, net sales dropped 12.08 percent to NT$105.88 billion from NT$120.43 billion in the year ago period.
