Nordex SE (NRDXF.PK,NDX1.DE) Monday said that in the first two months of the second quarter, it secured new orders in Germany totaling around 255 MW. The contracts cover 14 wind energy projects comprising 39 turbines, including 19 N163/6.X turbines, 11 N175/6.X turbines, and nine N149 turbines. All orders include long-term service and maintenance agreements, the company added.
The German wind turbine manufacturer said that among the new contracts is a 35 MW project for the Rheine-Catenhorn community wind farm in North Rhine-Westphalia. Under the agreement, Nordex will supply and install five N163/6.X turbines with a hub height of 164 meters. The order was awarded in cooperation with project developer BBWind, the company said in an official statement.
Nordex has not disclosed the identities of the other customers or the locations of the remaining wind farms. Construction and commissioning of all projects are scheduled between summer 2027 and spring 2028.
On the XETRA Exchange, NDX1.DE ended Friday's trading at 40.82 euros, down 0.15 percent.
