"Conan" has been extended through April 2014.

The TBS show helmed by Conan O'Brien has seen a hike in ratings in the last three months, partly as a result of the network airing "The Big Bang Theory" before "Conan." The show is up 27% in total viewers (and up 18% in the adults aged 18-34 demographic).

O'Brien said: "I am excited to continue my run with TBS because they have been fantastic partners. This means I'll be taping episodes of 'Conan' well into the Ron Paul presidency."

Michael Wright, Executive Vice President of programming for TNT, TBS and TCM, noted: "We are proud to be in business with Conan O'Brien for the long run. Night after night, Conan and his team have put together terrific shows that draw a young and fiercely loyal audience."

O'Brien moved to TBS after he was booted from his "Tonight Show" hosting role in January 2010.
