Finland's producer price inflation slowed in March, after accelerating in the previous month, data released by Statistics Finland showed Tuesday.
The producer price index increased 1.4 percent on an annual basis in March, markedly slower than the 2.2 percent growth seen in February. In January, the output price inflation was 1.8 percent.
Prices of products sold in the domestic market grew 2.3 percent annually, while prices of goods meant for the export market rose 0.4 percent.
On a monthly basis, output prices moved up 0.4 percent in March, following the previous month's 1.2 percent increase.
Finland's export price index gained 0.6 percent month-on-month in March, and grew 0.4 percent year-on-year. Import prices moved up 0.5 percent sequentially, taking the annual growth to 3.6 percent.
