Retail sales in Cyprus increased in March, after falling in the previous month, preliminary data released by the statistical office showed Friday.
The turnover of retail sales volume increased 5.1 percent on a monthly basis n March, recovering from the previous month's revised 3.8 percent sequential decrease, data showed.
In the January-March, period, retail sales decreased 0.7 percent from the corresponding period a year earlier, while in the January-February period, sales had declined 0.3 percent year-on-year.
