Kelly Rowland has debuted the video for "Summer Dreaming," a promo track in honor of Bacardi's 150th birthday. The vid, from director Annick Wolfer, features Kelly partying to the Kate Yanai remake on the beach.
"The story is all about the celebration," said Kelly, who will perform the song live in Berlin on July 8. "It's almost like you're seeing my dream come to life before your eyes and I wake up and I'm like, 'I'm really dreaming!'"
Rowland added that she was pleased to rework the track for Bacardi:
"The song and its history enthralled me right away. My aim was to record a joyful, colourful, sexy song and give it a bit of soul quality. The collaboration with BACARDÍ was so much fun. We had an awesome time recording the song."
Rowland is currently finishing up the production of her fourth album.
