Accesso Appoints Lee Cowie As CEO; Succeeds Founder Steve Brown

accesso Technology Group plc (ACSO.L), on Monday announced the appointment of Lee Cowie as Chief Executive Officer, taking over from founder Steve Brown following a planned leadership transition.

Cowie previously served as Chief Operating Officer and brings over 15 years of experience in technology leadership across the leisure and hospitality sectors.

Cowie earlier spent seven years at Merlin Entertainments Plc, most recently as Chief Technology Officer.

The transition marks the handover from Brown, who founded the accesso business in 2008 and led the company's growth across more than 1,100 venues in 31 countries.

Cowie is expected to lead initiatives around AI-driven intelligence, integrated payments, and a more connected technology ecosystem for operators and customers.

On Friday, accesso Technology Group plc closed trading 2.84% higher at GBp 272 on the London Stock Exchange.
