New Zealand GDP On Tap For Thursday

New Zealand is on Thursday scheduled to release Q1 figures for gross domestic product, highlighting a modest day for Asia-Pacific economic activity.

GDP is expected to add 0.4 percent on quarter and 1.3 percent on year after collecting 0.3 percent on quarter and 1.8 percent on year in the previous three months.

Hong Kong will provide inflation data for May, with little change expected from the 4.7 percent reading in April.

Malaysia will see the unemployment rate for April; it was 2.8 percent in March.
