At 6:00 am ET Tuesday, Eurozone economic sentiment index for October is due. Ahead of the data, the euro showed mixed performance against other major currencies. While the euro held steady against the yen, it traded higher against the greenback, franc and the pound.
At 5:55 am ET, the euro was quoted at 1.2934 against the greenback, 0.8059 against the pound, 102.71 against the yen and 1.2092 against the franc.
