Consumers are advised not to purchase or use "Japan Hokkaido Slimming Weight Loss Pills", a product promoted for weight loss, as it contains a potentially lethal ingredient - Sibutramine, warns the FDA.

Japan Hokkaido Slimming Weight Loss Pill is sold on various websites, including www.ebay.com, and in some retail stores.

A laboratory analysis by the FDA has confirmed that these weight loss pills contain Sibutramine, a pharma ingredient that was removed from the market in October 2010 for safety reasons.

Since Sibutramine is known to substantially increase blood pressure and/or pulse rate in some patients, the FDA noted that the weight loss pills may pose a significant risk for patients with a history of coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, arrhythmias, or stroke. This product may also interact, in life-threatening ways, with other medications a consumer may be taking.

Best Share Green Coffee: Brazilian Slimming Coffee as well as another product Beautiful Slim Body, sold on various websites, including www.houseofmonet.com and possibly in some retail stores, have also been found to contain Sibutramine.

The FDA is advising consumers to stop using Japan Hokkaido Slimming Weight Loss Pills, Brazilian Slimming Coffee and Beautiful Slim Body immediately and consult a health care professional as soon as possible if they experienced any negative side effects.

Remember, Abbott Laboratories' obesity drug Meridia, which was pulled off the market in October 2010 due to increased risk of heart attack and stroke? The active ingredient in Meridia was also Sibutramine.
