Kier Group plc (KIE.L), a British construction, services and property group, on Friday said it has secured a contract extension worth about £140 million from South West Water.
The two-year extension runs until March 2028, with Kier appointed as the sole contractor.
Under the Network Services Alliance (NSA) extension, Kier will continue to provide repair and maintenance services, leakage reduction work, network reliability projects, metering and developer services. The agreement also supports local supply chains and workforce training in the region.
Over the past year, Kier completed more than 25,000 repair and maintenance jobs and over 32,000 metering activities across South West Water's network.
The extension adds to Kier's existing contracts with South West Water, Anglian Water, Severn Trent, Southern Water, Thames Water, United Utilities and Yorkshire Water.
