The Australian dollar extended its early European session's advance against the currencies of the U.S., Europe and Canada ahead of Thursday's New York session.
The aussie touched near the key 1.05 level against the greenback for the first time since September 21, 6-day high of 1.2454 against the euro and a 2-day high of 1.0410 against the Canadian dollar around 7:10 am ET.
On the upside, the Australian currency may find target levels at 1.0520 against the US dollar, 1.0435 against the Canadian dollar and 1.2370 against the euro.
