Stevie Nicks And John Fogerty To Join Dave Grohl's Sound City Players Band

Last week, Dave Grohl announced that he would debut his Sound City Players band at the upcoming Sundance Film Festival in Utah. Now, the supergroup is beginning to take shape as the Foo Fighters fronter has added Stevie Nicks and John Fogerty to the line-up.

The Players' name hearkens Grohl's new documentary on Sound City Studios, where his former band Nirvana recorded its breakout album, Nevermind.

In addition to Nicks and Fogerty, the band will feature the remaining members of Nirvana (Krist Novoselic and Pat Smear), as well as the members of the Foos (Taylor Hawkins, Nate Mendel, Chris Shiflett).

Others include Rick Springfield, Cheap Trick's Rick Nielsen, Fear singer Lee Ving, Rage Against the Machine's Brad Wilk, the Geraldine Fibbers' Jessy Greene, and the Wallflowers' Rami Jaffee.

Sound City Players will make their debut on January 18 at Park City Live, a concert held in connection with the Sundance Film Fest.
