Serco Group Plc (SRP.L), an outsourcing and public services company, said Tuesday that it has renewed its facilities management contract with Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital under a 10-year agreement valued at more than 270 million pounds. The contract comes into effect immediately and extends Serco's role at the hospital through January 2037.
Under the agreement, the company said it will continue to provide services, including contract management, catering, laundry, waste management, security, car parking, and grounds maintenance.
Serco Group said that it is also using risk management and workflow software tools to support task allocation for portering and cleaning services. In addition, the renewed agreement is in line with the hard FM services already delivered by Serco at the site under an integrated service model, the company added.
On the LSE, SRP.L is up 0.36 percent on Tuesday's trading at 277.60 pence
