The yen retraced its early gains against its major counterparts in the European session on Wednesday.
The yen is now trading at 88.52 against the greenback, 140.37 against the pound, 89.32 against the loonie, 95.30 against the franc, 118.13 against the euro, 74.62 against the kiwi and 93.51 against the aussie, reversing from a 1-week high of 88.07, more than 3-week high of 139.30, 2-week high of 88.71, 6-day highs of 94.74, 117.08, 74.08 and 92.83, respectively.
