The euro edged higher against its major rivals in early European session on Thursday as the European Central Bank rate decision is looming.
The common currency climbed to 127.17 against the yen and 1.3569 against the US dollar around 3:20 am ET, up from Asian session lows of 126.17 and 1.3505, respectively.
The euro also advanced to 1.2328 against the Swiss franc and 0.8653 against the pound around the same time from Asian session's lows of 1.2295 and 0.8626, respectively.
